
Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical support specialist to provide high-quality service support for computer systems and large format printing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain Epson Large Format Printers at customer locations.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of large format printers and computer systems (hardware and software).
- Issue Resolution: Diagnose printer faults, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve technical issues related to printing systems and peripherals.
- Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot and repair computer hardware, software, networking issues for business customers.
- Performance Optimization: Perform calibration, alignment, and test prints to ensure optimal printer performance.
- Service Reporting: Maintain detailed service reports after each service visit, including issue diagnosis, resolution, and parts used.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with technical support teams and Epson service engineers for complex troubleshooting.
- Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed.
- Customer Training: Provide technical guidance and training to customers on proper usage and maintenance of printers and computer systems.
- Service Delivery: Ensure timely service response and achieve defined service KPIs.
- Escalation Management: Support customer escalations and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on new printer models, software updates, and technical service procedures.
- Education: Any degree (Engineering, Science, IT, Computer Applications, etc.)
- Degree Preference: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in service and maintenance of computers, printers, or large technical equipment.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of large format printers (Epson preferred) or computer systems troubleshooting is a strong advantage.
- Skills: Good understanding of networking, computer hardware, operating systems, and printer drivers.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently within Coimbatore & Tirupur region.
- Communication Skills: Good communication and customer service orientation.
