Process Management Opportunity

A Chemical Engineer with 18 to 20 years of experience in process departments is required.

Candidates should possess knowledge in carrying out basic and detailed engineering work, including performing heat & mass balance calculations, utility sizing for API, OSD and Biotech Projects, and preparing process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs).

Candidates should also be able to review all aspects of design and construction for consistency and safety, including leading Hazop Reviews, and carry out capacity mapping of Biotech Projects using schedules.

Candidates should have a strong knowledge on layout designing of API, OSD, Sterile and Biotech Projects, as well as area classification and man material flow concepts, ISPE Guidelines, and regulatory requirements of USFDA, MHRA, and WHO.

Candidates should also possess sound knowledge on equipment selection criteria like Fermentation, Bioreactors, TFF, Chromatography, Filling Lines, etc., and disposable technology will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review client specifications and ensure agreement is reached on the basis of design.
  • Investigate, analyze and implement systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain contact with other disciplines to ensure project manager and/or engineer are aware of problems of progress delays, proper interchange of information, proper interchange of documents, and interface is correctly defined.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge on layout designing of API, OSD, Sterile and Biotech Projects.
  • Sound knowledge on area classification and man material flow concepts.
  • Knowledge on ISPE Guidelines.
  • Regulatory requirements of USFDA, MHRA, and WHO.
