SAP Basis Cloud Architect Advisory

This is a senior role as per career progression for SAP Basis consultants. As a Cloud Architect Advisory (CAA), the primary responsibility is to plan and design SAP landscapes for customers, guiding them on their journey to the SAP RISE platform.

The CAA team works closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements for their landscape and creates architecture/design based on SAP product and infrastructure selection. Team members discuss landscape architecture with customer leaders and technical teams, joining meetings, answering technical queries, and presenting assessments.

Since this is an architect role, there will be no hands-on work. The scope for learning new technologies includes SAP products like S/4HANA, HANA Database, MDG, SaaS Products (Ariba, Salesforce etc.), and Cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).

Candidates will have access to all internal training and learning materials, gaining knowledge in the latest technologies. They will gain exposure to all the latest build architectures in one position, which is valuable and useful in future roles. This exposure is not typically available in regular SAP Basis positions.

  • Review technical accuracy of Bill Of Material to validate that no obsolete version product is selected to build on SAP RISE platform.
  • Provide feedback to sales teams on Bill Of Material to confirm if selected product and version is available to build.
  • Do technical validation of customer landscape to validate Product version build viability.
  • Analyze Early Watch Reports & Technical Data to validate hardware selection/sizing.
  • Work closely with sales teams on architecture, landscape, and to-be.
  • Sizing the to-be Landscape for Migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Technical Assessments to discuss with Customers and explain about their to-be landscape.
  • Conduct Technical Assessments with customers.
  • Perform workshops with customer (networking, HA concepts, RACI reviews).
  • Onboarding Questionnaire Support (assist customer with questions on onboarding).
  • Answer questions of customer relating to delivery.
  • Provide delivery with key information during sales cycle.
  • Provide turnover to delivery of key items during sales cycle.
  • Answer questions of delivery specific to the delivery.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in CAA Role - REX (SAP Basis, SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills, Migration/Upgrades & Experience on Any Cloud (AWS, MS Azure, GCP) – Good Comm Skill , who can articulate Exp in Customer Facing
