Software Quality Assurance Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing the testing of various applications, from high-stakes engineering software solutions to control and monitor high-end software control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans to deliver commitments within a professional, high-paced engineering environment.
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress.
  • Promote improvements in software quality practices through effective implementation and maintenance.
  • Direct the development of new test frameworks and applications to ensure the implementation of manual and automated test solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven work experience in software testing / quality assurance with basic programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Hands-on experience in manual API testing.
  • Experience in automation testing using Selenium or similar frameworks.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Technical Expertise:
  • Required:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working directly within engineering teams developing software delivering full systems.
  • 5+ years of proven work experience in software testing / quality assurance with web-based applications, mobile applications, and client-server applications.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills.
