Job Title: Shift Manager

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our data center. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of experience in the data center industry.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of shift managers and ensure all planned and unplanned activities are executed within the designated timeline with effective communication.
  • Track and close complaints within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) deviation.
  • Manage incidents and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with timely closure and periodic review of RCA recommendations.
  • Oversee asset management, including warranty, maintenance, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  • Track and complete 5 Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks within the target turnaround time (TAT) with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), ensuring 100% availability of equipment.
  • Manage vendors with response and resolution times (RAT and TAT) on complaints and ensure uptime of redundant equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain records for all stocks as per Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements.
  • Coordinate with other teams to address customer-related inquiries and submit reports on time.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with periodic tracking.
  • Adhere to physical security processes.
  • Prepare risk assessments and periodically validate and update based on incidents and RCAs.
  • Update inventory records regularly, balancing capacity versus accommodation versus balance on a monthly basis, including customer details on rack inventory.
  • Submit reports on time according to agreed timelines.
  • Ensure 100% audit and compliance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 7+ years of progressive data center and/or critical facilities experience.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
