Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines using Python and Java programming languages.
  • Develop data ingestion solutions using batch and streaming data ingestion techniques to integrate various data sources into our data warehouse.
  • Create data models to store and analyze large datasets, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • Work with databases, including relational SQL and NoSQL databases, understanding their differences and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in GCP, including proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Services (GCS), PubSub, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, BigQuery, and Airflow/Composer.
  • Understanding of database concepts, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with data warehouse concepts and ETL pipelines.
