About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Personal Loan Business Development Manager to join our team at IDFC FIRST Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for generating personal loan business through various channels.

Job Purpose

The primary objective of this position is to drive sales growth and expansion of personal loan business in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by acquiring new customers and growing existing relationships.
  • Pitch home loans to existing liability customers.
  • Foster month-on-month growth in Execution-only platform Assets for Gold loan business.
  • Ensure fee income as a percentage of total disbursals.
  • Cultivate customer relationships to ensure timely renewal of cases.
  • Coordinate with valuers to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Educate customers on product norms regarding valuation charges.
  • Maintain healthy collections with zero FEMI/FPD and minimize fresh flow in Bucket X.
  • Awareness and adherence to Priority sector lending (PSL) norms.
  • Support branch liability teams during audits and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract NTB gold loan customers.
  • Be willing to travel extensively across regions and conduct ad-hoc activities as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in personal loan sales.
  • Strong understanding of personal loan products and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
