Job Title:

A Retail Visual Merchandising Manager oversees the visual display of products in a retail store.

About the Role:

The primary objective is to maintain an engaging and inviting shopping environment that drives sales, customer satisfaction, and ultimately, business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on new product releases, trends, and competitor activity. Develop and implement strategies for effective product placement and visual merchandising to maximize sales potential.
  2. Customer Service: Foster exceptional customer experience by being aware of individual customer needs and preferences. Provide expert advice and guidance to customers, ensuring their expectations are exceeded.
  3. Visual Merchandise Management: Oversee the implementation of visual merchandising standards across all store displays, including window displays, floor fixtures, and product presentation. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Product Reception and Stock Management: Coordinate the receipt, storage, and replenishment of products according to company procedures. Ensure accurate inventory levels and optimal stock rotation to minimize losses.
  5. Team Management and Development: Lead a team of visual merchandisers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure they meet their duties efficiently. Foster a positive work environment and encourage open communication.
  6. Loss Prevention: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high security standards throughout the store, including fitting rooms, cash desks, and zoning. Participate in inventory counts and contribute to initiatives aimed at minimizing inventory loss rates.
