Corporate Attorney Role Overview

At the forefront of our company, we seek an accomplished Corporate Attorney who excels in IT services and consulting. As a key member of our team, this attorney will provide invaluable legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters while ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work, non-disclosure agreements, and vendor agreements to foster robust business partnerships.
  • Providing expert legal counsel on corporate governance, employment law, compliance, and regulatory matters to safeguard business operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate client negotiations and deliver smooth deal closures.
  • Maintaining strict adherence to data protection regulations, ensuring alignment with GDPR, HIPAA, and other international standards.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential legal risks through proactive advice to leadership.
  • Coordinating with external counsel for dispute resolution and arbitration when necessary.
  • Supporting policy development, compliance frameworks, and global operational enhancements.

Requirements:

  • LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably within IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation and drafting, particularly with international clients.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, intellectual property rights, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and problem-solving acumen.
  • Capacity to thrive independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within mid-to-large IT services/consulting companies.
  • Exposure to complex multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues.
  • Membership in professional bodies such as Bar Councils or Corporate Legal Associations is highly valued.
