Practice Development Opportunity

As a Practice Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our law firm's practices.

This dynamic position requires a unique blend of research, strategic execution, communications, and public relations skills. You will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of law, business development, and media, making a tangible impact on our firm's reputation and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Market Research: Gather and analyze data to support practice development initiatives and inform strategic decisions.
  • Content Creation: Draft, maintain, and update firm profiles, deal lists, experience lists, and marketing collateral to showcase our expertise and thought leadership.
  • Trend Analysis: Track market trends, legal developments, and competitor activity relevant to our firm and its practice areas.
  • Public Relations: Support PR and media outreach efforts, including liaising with journalists, monitoring media opportunities, and preparing press materials.
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing the firm's participation in events, conferences, and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update internal trackers, databases, and practice development dashboards on a real-time basis.
  • Communication: Draft internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, and social media content.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow the firm's social media presence across relevant platforms.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline processes to improve efficiency and ensure high-quality outputs across all PD activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in legal research, legal rankings, PR, or professional services is highly valued.
  • Skills: Strong research, analytical, and writing skills are essential. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are also required.
  • Ability: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
