Accounts Payable Associate Role

This is a full-time position in an organization that provides exceptional customer service and supports the Accounts Payable team with daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and investigate supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in end-to-end accounts payable processes.
  • Prepare and review reports in Excel to resolve open queries and provide clarity on financial matters.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and address any disputes promptly.
  • Maintain document archives and filing systems according to country legislation requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers and Product Specialists for smooth operations.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of opportunities within defined criteria and account base.
  • Support accounts with queries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop strong working relationships with vendor personnel and take responsibility for self-development in product knowledge and job competencies.
Requirements:
  • Be self-motivated with a proactive approach and a hardworking attitude.
  • Strive to provide excellent customer service and be proactive in addressing customer needs.
  • Have a high-level understanding of the client product portfolio and be able to communicate effectively about it.
  • Be a confident self-starter and strong team player, able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Sound business acumen and ability to understand and interact with customers.
  • Competent in standard Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Desirable Skills:
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is highly desirable.
  • Fast learner with ability to quickly pick up new systems and processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills are essential.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables).
  • Numerate with accounting knowledge and adept in Supply Chain Management Accounting.
