We are a fast-growing multi-channel e-commerce business with global marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Marketplace Expansion & Sales Growth:
  • Develop and execute growth strategies across platforms.
  • Identify high-potential product categories and brands for expansion.
  • Oversee pricing, promotions, and compliance to maximize visibility and conversions.
Vendor & Brand Onboarding:
  • Source and onboard vendors, distributors, and brand partners to expand our range.
  • Build relationships with suppliers for private label development.
  • Negotiate pricing, margins, payment terms, and agreements.
Private Label Development:
  • Coordinate with sourcing, design, compliance, and logistics teams to launch and scale new products.
  • Track product lifecycle, customer feedback, and reviews to refine offerings.
Sales & Profitability:
  • Contribute to revenue growth by identifying opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance and work towards maximizing profitability.
Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure proper collection and documentation of invoices, GST, and regulatory paperwork.
  • Work with internal teams to streamline processes.
Operational Management:
  • Collaborate with inventory, logistics, and fulfillment teams to streamline operations.
  • Monitor and resolve issues, suspensions, and challenges.
Team Building & Leadership:
  • Lead a high-performance business development team.
  • Train team on negotiation, e-commerce growth strategies, and more.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in Business Development or similar field.
  • Knowledge of India's e-commerce market.
  • Strong supplier network across multiple categories.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and more.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with sellers or aggregators.
  • Experience scaling businesses from ground up in India.
  • Understanding of compliance workflows.
