Accounting Associate
">About the Role:
">- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger entries.
- Assist in preparing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data into accounting systems.
- Support in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure statutory compliance, including GST, TDS, PF/ESIC filings, and ROC requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and other financial tools to support accounting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and drive business decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay up-to-date on changing regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (CA Inter/MBA Finance is a plus).
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting tools like Tally, Xero, or similar.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, basic formulas, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to multitask.
