Workday Implementation Expert

We are seeking an experienced Workday implementation expert to join our team. As a Workday implementation expert, you will play a key role in delivering successful Workday implementations and ensuring that our clients' needs are met.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Workday project lifecycle, strong knowledge of Workday modules including Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll, and excellent communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prioritize work for self and assist lead in providing inputs on all phases of delivery lifecycle.
  • Lead and manage small implementation projects/launch implementations, manage workload for team, and assist team in all phases of delivery lifecycle.
  • Develop complex configurations for clients and leads, manage data transformation, and perform EIB data loads.
  • Provide go-live assistance and ongoing support.
  • Lead and involve in data conversion activities pertaining to Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll.
  • Coordinate with leads for project delivery.
  • Coordinate with EM/PM and client for project delivery.
  • Multitask and engage on multiple projects at a time for lead activities.
  • End-to-end ownership of assigned projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Investigate business/technical requirements for client's Absence or Time Tracking needs, work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and achieve consensus on organization's needs and priorities.
  • Provide overview to client.
  • Design Workday solution to meet needs.
  • Conducting sessions with client personnel to verify required aspects of concerned module.
  • Ability to configure based on filled workbook.
  • Perform self-reviews and smoke testing of work delivered and review peer's work.
  • Application Testing: Assist clients with testing of concerned functional module. Testing is driven by scenarios from client team.
  • Production Support: Includes practices and disciplines of supporting Workday solution for period of time post deployment.
  • Migration Activities and Production Rollout: Assist with rollout of Workday solution into production environment.
  • Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectations.
  • Identify and manage issue resolution including escalation as needed.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with mid and senior-level management.
  • Works with senior-level management for understanding future priorities and plans.
  • Develop & manage communication plans with stakeholders aimed at improved collaboration.
  • Leverage synergies between global information systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Workday project lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday modules including Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach around it.
  • Knowledge of Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll functional areas.
  • Self-motivated and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.
  • Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.
  • Ability to train users in a classroom setting.
  • Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environment.
  • Passion for customer service.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
