We are currently seeking an experienced piping design professional with a strong background in piping, HVAC design, and 3D modeling tools. The ideal candidate will have exposure to Marine/Offshore projects (preferred) and should also be open to opportunities across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of complex piping designs and layouts for engineering projects.
  • Create and review piping general arrangement drawings, isometrics, material take-offs, and support drawings.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, structural, mechanical, instrumentation, etc.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using advanced 3D modeling software.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Handle global client interactions professionally, capturing requirements and delivering effective design solutions.
  • Candidates with knowledge of all marine classification societies, standards, and rules are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Deliver design packages on time, while adhering to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Identify risks, deviations, and propose solutions to maintain design integrity.
  • Collaborate with procurement and vendors for equipment/piping interface requirements.
  • Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams with design clarifications and site queries.
  • Prepare design documentation, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, or relevant qualification.
  • Experience: 4–12 years in piping design.
  • Background in Marine/Offshore projects is highly desirable.

Software Skills (Must Have)

  • AutoCAD Plant 3D
  • Recap
  • Navisworks Manage
  • Parametric modeling tools experience.
  • Ai Tools (any).

We're Looking For

  • Strong knowledge of piping design codes and standards.
  • Hands-on expertise in layout planning, routing, and detailing.
  • Adaptability to work across diverse industries (Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, Pharma, F&B).
  • Ability to relocate to Bangalore.
