Job Title: Piping Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop and implement piping systems for various energy projects.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing piping systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop piping systems that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical specifications to determine the most suitable piping solutions.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings including isometric and orthographic views.
  • Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
  • Review and approve vendor documents and drawings.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the installation and performance of piping systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the design construction or operation phases.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in piping technology and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Piping Engineer in the energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of piping design principles codes and standards ASME ANSI API etc.
  • Proficiency in using piping design software AutoCAD SolidWorks etc.
  • Familiarity with stress analysis software CAESAR II ANSYS etc.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Professional engineering license is preferred.
