The role of Hydraulic Design Manager involves overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of hydraulic design projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in hydraulic design, specifically with water supply pipeline projects or irrigation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct water requirement calculations for water supply schemes and irrigation pipe distribution network projects.
  2. Develop zone/water user association block plans and chak planning for projects.
  3. Create pipeline layout plans for water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution network irrigation projects.
  4. Perform hydraulic design on Water GEMS software for water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution network irrigation projects.
  5. Prepare L-sections of pipeline design using AutoCAD and E survey software.
  6. Investigate, conduct surveys, perform engineering calculations, and prepare working drawings and estimates for water supply schemes and pressurized/gravity pipe distribution network irrigation projects.
  7. Estimate item-wise bills of quantity for projects.
  8. Calculate quantity estimations and bar bending schedules from drawings.
  9. Obtain design approvals from government departments and vetting institutes.
  10. Travel to sites/government departments for convincing, scrutiny, and approval.
  11. Develop report writing and presentation skills.
