Job Summary

ADCI HYD 13 SEZ is seeking an experienced Payroll Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Global Payroll Quality Assurance (GPQA) team, you will be responsible for performing audits and analysis to identify risk and ensure compliance with our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work with Operational Excellence (OE) Automation team to perform UAT and report any issues while building Alteryx workflows and performing automation to ensure controls are effectively driven on a timely basis.
  2. Partner with Payroll Ops/Global Payroll Payments (GPP) teams to obtain transactional data to perform banking controls.
  3. Conduct audits/analysis and dive deep on banking controls on a daily basis.
  4. Identify variances and report audit findings to Payroll operations team for review and corrections.
  5. Collaborate with Payroll Controllership regional owners to communicate potential risk and work towards resolution in partnership with various stakeholders.
  6. Perform process deep dive and identify new risks or opportunities.
  7. Identify process gaps and work with upstream partners to mitigate defects.
  8. Review existing processes and recommend audits/controls, applying analytical thinking to resolve audit findings.
  9. Promote excellence through a culture of continuous improvement in our processes and key business inputs.

A Day in the Life

As a Payroll Quality Assurance Specialist, you will perform banking audits to mitigate financial loss and avoid bad employee experience. You will attend weekly team meetings and collaborate with upstream teams such as Payroll Operations, GPP, and OE automation teams.

About the Team

Our Global Payroll Quality Assurance (GPQA) team was formed in collaboration with the Payroll Controllership (PC) team to establish a model that assesses known and potential risks to develop control mechanisms. We strive for continuous improvement to maintain a high bar, enhance organizational processes and controls, and reduce errors and mitigate risk globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and commerce (B. Com)
  • 2+ years of fraud audits/risk investigations experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections), or general ledger experience, hands-on experience in handling Alteryx applications, and experience in advanced excel (like macros, VBA etc.,)
