Head of Fundraising and Partnerships

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our fundraising and partnerships efforts. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, building and managing relationships with key stakeholders, and overseeing the development of grant materials and donor communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fundraising Strategy Execution & Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic fundraising plan that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Partnership Development & Network Building: Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key donors, philanthropists, and ecosystem enablers.
  • Communications & Collateral Oversight: Oversee the development and quality of donor-facing communications, including pitch decks, proposals, reports, and campaigns.
  • Team Leadership & Systems Building: Build and mentor a high-performing fundraising team and establish robust systems for donor CRM, grant compliance, reporting, proposal management, and audit preparedness.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Strategic executor with 12-15 years of experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, or business development within the nonprofit, CSR, or impact investing space.
  • Compelling storyteller and sharp writer able to translate complexity into clarity across proposals, pitches, and reports.
  • Strong grasp of India's social impact ecosystem and ability to intuit what funders value.
  • Thrive in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments and bring a builder's mindset to everything (s)he take on.
