Snowflake Administrator Role Summary

At the heart of our data infrastructure is a dedicated Snowflake administrator. This key individual is responsible for overseeing the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Snowflake databases to ensure seamless data sharing, tagging, and cost transparency across various environments.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Snowflake systems, including database management, security protocols, and compliance standards. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and resolving complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated solutions to optimize warehouse performance and query efficiency.
  • Manage Kafka clusters and CI/CD automation using GitLab to streamline development workflows.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation and SOPs for data connectivity and knowledge sharing.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with DBAs across the business to support data connectivity and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in Snowflake administration, database management, and data security.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, including Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Ability to design and implement automated solutions for improved efficiency and productivity.
