We are seeking a highly motivated Cloud Solutions Consultant to join our team at Jio.

About the Role:

  • This is a dynamic and challenging role that involves identifying potential customers, understanding their business needs, and effectively communicating how our cloud solutions can meet those needs.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of experience in sales, preferably in cloud services, and a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Proven sales track record, excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong negotiation and closing abilities are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for cloud solutions and services.
  2. Prospecting: Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  3. Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospective customers to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for cloud solutions.
  4. Solution Presentation: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase cloud services and demonstrate how they address customer requirements and pain points.
  5. Proposal Creation: Prepare and present tailored sales proposals, including pricing, deliverables, and implementation plans to clients.
  6. Negotiation: Lead negotiation discussions with clients, addressing concerns, managing expectations, and closing sales.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and pre-sales teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.
  8. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the cloud space to effectively position products and differentiate offerings.
  9. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management using CRM software, and report on sales performance and progress to management.
  10. Customer Follow-up: Provide ongoing support and maintain relationships with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in sales, in cloud services.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and familiarity with Private Cloud and public cloud business.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of ₹10,00,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
