
Area Sales Strategist

Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Area Business Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the assigned territory.
This role requires strong expertise in Pediatrics, Gynecology, or Nutrition segments, with the ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and channel partners. Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving sales targets and growth objectives for the assigned area.
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of Medical Representatives to enhance performance.
- Developing and implementing effective territory business plans to drive prescription generation.
- Establishing strong relationships with Pediatricians, Gynecologists, Nutritionists, and other key stakeholders.
- Identifying new business opportunities, monitoring competitor activities, and suggesting strategic initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, reporting systems, and industry regulations.
- Organizing CMEs, RTMs, and other scientific engagement activities to strengthen brand visibility.
- Providing timely reports on sales performance, market insights, and team metrics.
Candidate Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Science/Pharmacy.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
Experience:
5 to 8 years of pharmaceutical sales experience with at least 2 to 3 years in a first-line managerial role.
Specialization:
Exposure to Pediatrics, Gynecology, or Nutrition therapeutic segments is a must.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
