Commercial Acumen:

As a Client Relationship Director at Parexel, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, profitability, and building relationships within key accounts. You will support the Account Leader in developing, implementing, and achieving business vision, strategy, plan, financial metrics, and execution for the account. Your responsibility will include direct oversight of assigned accounts, including growth, bid pursuit, commercial negotiation of contracts, and leading activities that accelerate growth and profitability. You will work closely with the Account Leader to develop winning and integrative solutions across SBUs, lead bid pursuit meetings, and develop proposal narratives and executive summaries.

Account Leadership:

You will be responsible for identifying client needs and developing creative solutions for projects, leveraging expertise, operational capabilities, and technologies. You will maintain high visibility within the client organization, solid knowledge of all Parexel services and value propositions for cross-selling opportunities, and ensure repeat business through positive client relationships. You will also work closely with delivery teams to identify new opportunities and ensure account growth.

Skills and Qualifications:

You must have a solid understanding of the principles of drug discovery and development, demonstrated commercial acumen, and the ability to build relationships and communicate at senior management level. You will also need to demonstrate an entrepreneurial drive, blending urgency, strategic thinking, and awareness of influencing behavior in a global environment. You should be a highly effective communicator at all levels, open and direct with strong oral and written communication skills. You must be comfortable operating in a demanding, fast-paced environment and be capable of reacting swiftly to changing business demands. As a bonus, experience in sales and delivery roles, as well as a degree in Life Sciences, would be highly valued.
