
Human Resource Operations Specialist

Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of an organization's payroll operations. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual with excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees (monthly, bi-weekly, etc.).
- Maintain payroll records and employee data in HRIS/payroll systems.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with HR for employee onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes.
- Handle payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components.
- Prepare payroll reports for internal use and external audits.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and earnings.
- Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
- Assist with year-end activities such as tax form distribution (e.g., W-2).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Familiarity with local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
