**Operating Theatre Role Overview**

As a skilled Operating Theatre professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of ophthalmic surgical procedures.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Demonstrate expertise in sterilization, fumigation, and Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) procedures.
  • Clean and prepare instruments, conduct equipment checks, and perform routine upkeep tasks to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Provide assistance during ophthalmic surgical procedures, working closely with medical staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in an operating theatre setting, preferably with ophthalmic experience.
