Deputy Manager - MEP Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Deputy Manager to oversee all MEP activities in residential, commercial and mixed use projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to manage teams effectively.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs for the team and project staff.
  • Ensure contractors' staff and workmen are trained and competent.
  • Implement processes related to MEP in the assigned region.
  • Provide feedback for improving working processes.
Operational Tasks:
  • Review GFC drawings and optimize costs.
  • Ensure green building aspects are incorporated during construction.
  • Proactively identify MEP issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee drawing schedules, technical submittals and material tracking logs.
  • Implement project procedures for execution, installation, testing and quality control.
  • Ensure MEP building services comply with contract conditions and local authority norms.
  • Resolve MEP-related RFIs on time.
  • Coordinate MEP contracts award with Contracts team.
  • Provide technical support for MEP statutory approvals.
  • Record changes made in approved drawings and update final as-built drawings.
  • Support certification of final MEP systems.
