What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Specialists within their territory based on customer demand for scientific application.
  • Provide pre and post-sale support, product demonstrations, seminars, training, and supporting sales objectives.
  • Apply the highest level of scientific and technical product knowledge in modality, including solution impact, capabilities, and functions within context of customers.
  • Support customers with in-depth technical support, remotely, in person, or in the lab.
  • Conduct demos or experiments for or with the customer, following up on samples with technical advice and/or experimental support.
  • Develop regional customer training, creating application-driven training courses and demonstrations at customer sites and high-level scientific meetings.
  • Build and strengthen technical relationships with customers.
  • Identify potential opportunities of scalability of an application, identify products and services that will provide significant cost savings and productivity gains for customers, and persuasively educate and articulate the benefits to customers.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Cross-selling, upselling, value positions, and funnel management.
  • Understanding of customers' key business drivers.
  • Insight into networks and contacts.
  • Comprehensive Cell Therapy, Viral Vector or nucleic acid process upstream downstream expertise.
  • Bachelor's Degree in biotechnology, life sciences, or relevant field.
  • Prior experience in Biotechnology industry (5 years).

Travel

Ability to travel 50-75% overnight within territory or locations.

A Plus

Previous experience in data analytics or CRM platforms.
