Job Description

The Chief Business Officer is a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving growth in the renewable energy sector with a focus on solar energy.

Reporting to the CEO, the CBO will lead efforts to achieve revenue targets and increase export revenue. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and implement strategies to drive market expansion, manage risk, and leverage experience scaling revenues into thousands of crores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals and drive market expansion.
  • Revenue Leadership: Leverage experience scaling revenues into thousands of crores and establish accurate revenue forecasting models.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement lean startup methodology and streamline operations to drive significant improvements in operational performance.
  • Innovation: Drive product and market innovation and foster a culture of innovation to promote continuous improvement.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Cultivate leadership within the organization and mentor and develop future leaders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 18 years of experience in senior leadership roles with a proven track record of scaling revenues in the renewable energy sector.
  • Skillset: Strong background in strategic planning, revenue forecasting, and risk management.
