Job Title: Director of Insurance Operations

Description:

The role of Director of Insurance Operations is a senior leadership position responsible for managing and optimizing insurance programs across all stages of renewable energy project lifecycles.

This includes identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks through comprehensive insurance strategies, ensuring adequate coverage, and driving cost-effective solutions.

A strong understanding of both insurance principles and the specific risks associated with large-scale renewable energy projects is required to excel in this role.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing the renewal process for various insurance policies.
  • Reviewing and negotiating policy wordings, terms, and conditions with brokers and underwriters.
  • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing renewable energy projects.

Requirements:

An MBA in Finance/Insurance from a premier institute and 10-15 years of relevant experience with a large and reputable Renewable or Corporate entity are essential qualifications for this role.

Domain experience in Power/Transmission industry is also required.
