Executive Director Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Class Conduct and Examination Management: Ensure efficient conduct of classes, examinations, and technical training programs by fostering a collaborative learning environment.
  • Innovation and Research: Encourage innovation and research among faculty members to enhance academic excellence.
  • Industry Partnerships and Collaborations: Strengthen industry partnerships and promote international collaborations and exchange programs to provide students with global opportunities.
Administrative Duties:
  • Timetable Design: Provide guidance to heads of departments and teachers in designing timetables for optimal infrastructure and human resource utilization to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Student Information Distribution: Oversee timely preparation and distribution of information among students upon semester/term commencement to ensure transparency and student engagement.
  • Enrollment Generation: Serve as the single point of contact for the institution to ensure timely completion of enrollment generation process for newly admitted students, ensuring seamless onboarding.
Reporting and Feedback:
  • MIS Updates: Ensure regular updates of institutional data on the university website and MIS to maintain data accuracy and transparency.
  • Meetings with Staff and Students: Conduct regular meetings with teaching and non-teaching staff, and hold periodic meetings with students to gather feedback on teaching-learning process and examination conduct, fostering open communication.

Eligibility Criteria: PhD degree with a total service/experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/administration in universities, colleges, and other institutions of higher education.
