About the Role:

The Senior Financial Strategist will oversee month-end closing activities, preparation and consolidation of financial statements. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local financial regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee financial controls to ensure integrity in all financial transactions and reporting.
  • Manage external audit processes ensuring adherence to financial policies and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure alignment of financial strategies and reporting.
  • Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry trends implementing necessary changes in financial practices and strategies.

Additional Duties:

  • Development of ad-hoc reports
  • Management of special projects as required by management

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of IFRS and local financial regulations
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
