Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Strategist to lead our finance team in providing strategic financial guidance and support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with company goals.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations for project and corporate finance, ensuring timely payments and minimizing risks.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, taxation, and statutory compliance across global operations, maintaining accurate records and meeting regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and auditors for funding, project finance, and audit processes, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless interactions.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls, SOPs, and risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential risks.
- Monitor project costs and revenues; analyze variances and provide insights to project teams and leadership, driving informed decision-making.
- Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and corporate governance standards, maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
- Support strategic financial planning, including mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Develop financial models for pricing, investment appraisals, and bid evaluation, using data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification.
- 10 years of experience in finance, preferably in EPC, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, or related industries, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of project-based accounting, international taxation, and multi-currency operations, with expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and ERP systems.
- Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis, with proficiency in tools like Excel, SAP, Oracle, or Tally ERP.
- Familiarity with international contracts, FIDIC, and export-import regulations is a plus, as is experience working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team, communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, and drive business growth through strategic financial planning.
