MEP & HVAC Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a MEP and HVAC design engineer.

About the Position:

This is an ideal opportunity for engineers with hands-on experience designing HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, hospital, and high-rise building projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform heat load calculations and cooling load estimations in accordance with ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards.
  • Select and design chillers, pumps, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and other HVAC equipment.
  • Create detailed layouts of HVAC systems ducting piping controls using AutoCAD Revit.
  • Develop bill of quantities technical specifications design reports tender documents equipment data sheets.
  • Manage documentation submittals approvals with clients consultants.
  • Coordinate with MEP teams Mechanical Electrical Plumbing architects contractors project integration.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals conduct technical assessments.
  • Support value engineering energy efficiency improvements system optimization.
  • Provide technical support installation testing commissioning stages.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC system design including chillers VRV VRF Air Distribution Hydronic Systems.
  • Familiarity with MEP coordination integration.
  • Proficiency in HAP TRACE AutoCAD Revit MEP Carrier E20 II Duct Sizer Pipe Sizer software.
  • Knowledge of industry standards codes ASHRAE ISHRAE SMACNA NBC IS ASME.
  • Excellent communication documentation client handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • B.E. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering equivalent.
  • 3–8 years MEP HVAC design engineering experience.
  • Prior experience in commercial industrial healthcare large infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Membership certification ASHRAE ISHRAE added advantage.
