Product Development Lead

Product Vision & Strategy
The successful applicant will assume the role of Product Development Lead, responsible for creating and maintaining a product vision that aligns with our company's strategic objectives. This includes determining product goals that meet consumer demands and creating a roadmap to prioritize product developments.
Product Requirements & Development
The selected candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to research market requirements for current and future products/experiences. This involves identifying consumer needs and creating solutions that meet those needs, working closely with UX and engineering teams.
Customer Advocacy & Prioritization
As Product Development Lead, the applicant will act as the customer's voice and product expert within the scrum team. This involves delivering product vision and user stories to the team to ensure product features meet our customers' demands.
Product Backlog Management & Performance
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog by balancing risk, value, learning opportunities, and dependencies. They will also monitor critical performance parameters to ensure product performance and quality.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
The selected candidate will communicate the product vision, ongoing risks, scope trade-offs, and timeline effects to stakeholders. They will also ensure that data is key to client success, product improvements, and long-term strategy.
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in SaaS product management, with a proven track record of establishing large-scale consumer-facing solutions. They will also have prior experience working with software development teams in agile settings and expertise working with design on high UI/UX emphasis challenges.
Desirable Skills & Qualities
The successful candidate will possess expert-level communication and influencing abilities, with a strong ability to work with cross-functional teams. They will also have decision-making skills based on data and quantitative analysis, as well as a good understanding of fundamental programming and computer science principles.
Additional Requirements
A significant plus for startup experience, with a desire to collaborate with external and internal customer stakeholders to challenge assumptions, identify needs, use cases, and challenges to be solved. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is also required.
