Job Title: E-commerce Technical Specialist

Description:

We're seeking an experienced e-commerce technical specialist to take our digital customer journey to the next level. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Shopify and Shopflo development, with a strong focus on session management, cookies, and browser behavior.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Liquid templates, APIs, and checkout customization. Additionally, they should be proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end customizations.

Responsibilities include resolving session-related issues, implementing automatic session regeneration, and customizing Shopify themes to add consent forms, banners, and privacy notices.

They will also be responsible for configuring and optimizing Shopflo checkout flows, integrating Meta Pixel and Conversions API for accurate ad attribution, and ensuring fbclid/UTM tracking works properly across Shopify/Shopflo checkout.

Ongoing tasks will involve collaborating with marketing teams to align tracking, attribution, and campaign data, maintaining compliance with GDPR/CCPA/DPDP Act, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Shopify platform (Liquid templates, APIs, checkout customization)
  • Hands-on expertise in Shopflo checkout optimization
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS for front-end customizations
  • Deep understanding of Meta Pixel, Conversions API, and ad tracking
  • Knowledge of session management, cookies, and browser behavior
  • Familiarity with fbclid/UTM parameters for marketing attribution
  • Awareness of privacy compliance (GDPR/CCPA/DPDP Act)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with WordPress/WooCommerce for supplementary site sections
  • Shopify Plus customizations
  • Prior work with high-conversion D2C brands
  • Knowledge of other ad platforms (Google, TikTok) and consent handling
