Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and multi-talented IT Technical Specialist who will be responsible for managing and supporting IT infrastructure, application development, and backend systems. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in hardware, networking, Ruby on Rails development, mobile app development, and database management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Basic knowledge of Hardware Support:

  2. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

  3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues.
  4. Maintain inventory and documentation of all hardware assets.

  5. Coordinate with vendors for warranty and AMC services.

  6. Basic knowledge of Networking:

  7. Set up and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.

  8. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  9. Ensure proper configuration of IP addresses, routers, switches, and firewalls.

  10. Implement basic network security measures and perform routine audits.

  11. Ruby on Rails Development:

  12. Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.

  13. Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers.
  14. Maintain and upgrade existing ROR applications.

  15. Write clean, scalable, and documented code.

  16. App Development:

  17. Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android/iOS platforms.

  18. Use cross-platform technologies (like Flutter/React Native) as required.
  19. Perform bug fixing and performance optimization.

  20. Integrate APIs and third-party tools with mobile apps.

  21. Database Management:

  22. Create and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

  23. Write and optimize SQL queries for performance.
  24. Backup and restore database systems regularly.
  25. Ensure data security, consistency, and availability.

Key Skills Required:

  • Hardware and peripheral troubleshooting
  • Network configuration and diagnostics
  • Ruby on Rails (ROR) development
  • Mobile App Development (Android/iOS/Flutter)
  • SQL, relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
