Job Title:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Monitors budget performance and variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Develops accurate financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
General Accounting:
  • Oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Reconciles financial records and resolves discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Financial Analysis:
  • Conducts thorough financial analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Provides insights on financial performance, cost control, and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Assists in evaluating investment opportunities and business expansion strategies.
Team Management:
  • L eads and mentors a team of accountants, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Delegates tasks effectively, sets performance goals, and conducts regular performance reviews.
Auditing and Compliance:
  • Coordinates with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
  • Ensures compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other relevant laws.
Cash Management:
  • Monitors cash flows and liquidity, optimizing working capital management.
  • Implements strategies to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
Relationship Management:
  • Collaborates with banks, financial institutions, and vendors to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Engages with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
Software and Technology:
  • Utilizes accounting software and financial management tools to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
  • Stays updated with advancements in financial technology and suggests relevant improvements.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Financial Operations Manager or in a similar financial management role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation. Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management tools.
