**Head of Finance Job Overview**

This is a key leadership position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the financial management and analysis of our Indian subsidiary and UK/International Commercial teams. The role requires a highly commercial and analytical individual with excellent communication skills to provide strategic advice to senior management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the audit of Internal Financial Control over financial reporting and prepare internal audit reports, including statutory audits, revenue audits, preparation of TDS returns, and Income Tax Returns with support from local advisors.
  • Responsible for all accounting-related issues, ensuring legal requirements are met.
  • Provide financial reporting and budgeting services, reporting to management.
  • Review company financial reports and suggest ways to reduce costs and manage budgets effectively.
  • Collect, interpret, and review financial information, producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc.
  • Develop strategies to minimize financial risk, manage procurement, stock/inventory, maintain records of debtors and creditors, and payroll management.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly MIS, provide ROC compliances, annual filing, incorporation of companies, etc.

**Commercial Analysis:** Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking for both the Indian business and the wider UK/International business.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong English language skills.
  • Qualified accountant with 5+ years pharmaceutical experience preferable.
  • International company experience.
  • Management experience to include liaison with internal and external stakeholders such as senior management, auditors, suppliers, banks, insurance providers, contractors, etc.
  • Highly analytical and results-focused with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible approach to work to meet strict deadlines.
