About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Systems Design Lead to join our team in Bangalore. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in designing and developing cutting-edge propulsion systems for aircraft nacelles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Definition: Define system-level requirements for nacelles, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts.
  • Design and Development:
    • Serve as responsible engineer for nacelle systems, overseeing conceptual and detailed design. Manage integration with engine and aircraft, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
    • Ensure configuration management throughout product lifecycle.
    • Develop and manage testing and validation plans for nacelle components and systems.
    • Interpret and analyze test data to verify system performance and compliance.
    • Conduct design trade-off studies to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in aerospace systems engineering, with focus on nacelle design, development, and testing.
  • Strong knowledge of nacelle systems, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts.
  • In-depth understanding of aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA) and certification processes.
  • Proficiency with engineering software such as CATIA, ANSYS, and MATLAB/Simulink.
