Job Title:Senior Data ArchitectAbout the Role

Our company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data solutions, ensuring seamless integration with global clinical trial systems.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess in-depth knowledge of database architecture, SQL development, and data migration strategies. They should also have hands-on experience with schema migrations, rollback logic, and data validation processes.

  • Develop complex SQL queries using joins, CTEs, window functions, and nested queries to troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
  • Implement schema-level fixes, create data validation test cases, and maintain proper workflow using tools like Phinx, Flyway, or Liquibase.
  • Document root cause analysis clearly and communicate solutions with stakeholders.
  • Work with Jira for ticket management and maintain proper workflow.
Must-Have Skills:
  • Advanced SQL Development – Strong hands-on experience with complex joins, aggregations, and performance optimization.
  • Database Architecture Expertise – Proven ability to design and implement large-scale data solutions.
  • Data Remediation Expertise – Familiarity with schema migrations, rollback tools (Phinx, Flyway, Liquibase), and data validation processes.
  • Cloud Database Experience – Knowledge of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP BigQuery).
  • Excellent Communication Skills – Ability to document root cause analysis clearly and communicate solutions with stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience in ETL processes, data pipelines, or big data technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
