Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Professional to join our team at Accounting Bridge, a leading accounting software firm based in British Columbia, Canada.

This is a remote opportunity for an experienced Accountant who can work independently and collaboratively with clients, handling multiple accounts and providing exceptional financial services.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records using Excel and QuickBooks Online, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, preparing and filing sales tax returns, and assembling working paper packages for financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records using Excel and QuickBooks Online.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and file sales tax returns.
  • Financial Reporting: Assemble working paper packages for financial statements.
  • Data Management: Conduct data entry tasks as needed.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare corporate tax returns and related documentation.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll tasks, including employee onboarding, payroll processing, and terminations.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients via email and phone to gather necessary information and clarify details.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field (e.g., B. Com, M. Com, CA).
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and work pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Foreign-trained accountants based in India.
  • CAs looking for employment or those who have completed articleship.
