Job Title: Financial Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our financial department. As a key member, you will be responsible for developing and implementing direct tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.

This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact while mentoring finance team members and staying ahead in a dynamic regulatory environment. You will work closely with leadership and business units to ensure efficient tax planning and adherence to all applicable direct tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement direct tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks
  • Research, interpret, and apply relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure full compliance
  • Prepare and review direct tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
  • Manage tax audits and coordinate responses and documentation for tax authorities
  • Advise internal teams on tax implications of business decisions and transactions
  • Monitor changes in direct tax laws and assess their business impact
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax efficiency while minimizing tax liabilities and risks
  • Provide guidance and training to finance and business teams on direct tax matters

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and handling tax audits
  • Strong research and analytical skills to interpret complex tax legislation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in mentoring or guiding junior finance professionals
  • Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation
