Job Overview

The Senior Executive - Finance will be responsible for performing reconciliations for customer and vendor ledgers, as well as inter-company transactions.

They will review and verify supplier invoices in line with contractual agreements, and record entries in the Business Operations System (BOS). Additionally, they will prepare monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports, revenue statements, and reconcile income and expenditure reports.

Furthermore, the Senior Executive - Finance will oversee monthly billing for cargo handling and counter sales, ensuring daily/monthly BOS reconciliation. They will also monitor receivables, follow up with debtors, and prepare monthly ageing reports.

Maintaining and updating financial data across systems such as RSmart and COSYS is a key responsibility of this role. The position requires processing invoices and accurately recording receipts.

Generating MIS reports and costing sheets for Air India GH & CH using BOS financial data is another critical task. Ensuring proper documentation and backup for all financial transactions, conducting general ledger reviews and analysis, and assisting auditors during financial audits and statement preparation are also essential duties.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience in finance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles; experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred.
  • Exposure to the aviation industry is a plus.
