Job Title: Pharmacovigilance Director

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Pharmacovigilance team. As a Pharmacovigilance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of pharmacovigilance strategies to ensure the safe use of pharmaceutical products.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in pharmacovigilance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that pharmacovigilance activities are aligned with business objectives and that safety data is accurately collected and reported.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pharmacovigilance strategies to ensure the safe use of pharmaceutical products
  • Oversee the collection and reporting of safety data from various sources, including clinical trials, post-marketing surveillance, and literature searches
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that pharmacovigilance activities are aligned with business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide expert advice on pharmacovigilance matters to internal stakeholders
Requirements:
  • MSc or PhD in a relevant field (e.g. pharmacy, medicine, life sciences)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in pharmacovigilance, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and developing effective pharmacovigilance strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze complex safety data and make informed decisions
