Job Overview

This role presents an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as an Investment Analysis Expert. The position involves conducting thorough market size analysis, evaluating products and services, assessing teams, business models, and financials, identifying risk factors, and analyzing competitive landscapes and funding histories. Comprehensive investment notes will be prepared on potential opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deal Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive market research, assess the viability of deals, and prepare detailed reports on potential investments.
  • Due Diligence – Support the investment team in commercial due diligence, financial due diligence, and legal due diligence and Coordinate with professional firms to oversee their diligence findings.
  • Deal Sourcing – Assist in sourcing opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers, and startup ecosystem. Screen startups, review pitch decks, and conduct preliminary assessments based on deal evaluation metrics.
  • Portfolio Support – Engage with portfolio companies and assist in preparation of updates on the companies, assist founders with research and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ecosystem Engagement – Attend startup events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Internal Reports & Documentation – Assist in preparing compliance documentation and internal records.
  • Investor Relations – Assist in making presentations for Limited Partners (LPs) as well as investor updates.
Requirements
  • NISM Series XIX-D exam is mandatory.
  • Passion for startups, venture capital, and innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields preferred (though not mandatory).
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, or finance is a plus.
  • An insatiable hunger to learn.
