Job Overview

This is a pivotal role for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models, conducting in-depth analysis of financial data, and providing actionable insights to management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling tools is essential.

About the Role

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate business performance, assess investment opportunities, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, identify key trends and drivers, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly financial reports, variance analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner closely with business leaders across different functions to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Manage the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion, monitor actual spending against budget, and recommend cost-saving measures.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for strategic planning initiatives, including market analysis, competitive analysis, and new product development.

Requirements:

  • CA (1st Attempt) / MBA (Tier-1 College) / CFA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 4-8 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a focus on financial planning and analysis, preferably in fast-growing startups.
  • Strong understanding of financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
