We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business/Finance/Market Editor to join our editorial team. The role requires a strong understanding of business, finance, the economy, and market trends. You will be responsible for overseeing content quality, ensuring accuracy, and shaping stories that inform, engage, and resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, assign, and edit content related to business, finance, markets, startups, and the economy.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with editorial standards.
- Work closely with writers and analysts to generate high-quality stories.
- Monitor breaking news, market developments, and global financial events to ensure timely coverage.
- Collaborate with the design, social media, and video teams to create engaging multimedia content.
- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and voice across platforms.
- Mentor junior writers and provide editorial feedback.
- Ensure SEO best practices and audience-focused writing in all content.

Requirements

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Journalism, Economics, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 46 years of experience in business/finance/economy journalism, with at least 4 years in an editorial role.
- Strong understanding of stock markets, corporate news, global economy, and financial policies.
- Excellent editing, writing, and headline-making skills.
- Ability to simplify complex financial topics for a wide audience.
- Strong news judgment and ability to handle breaking news situations.
- Proficiency with editorial tools, CMS platforms, and SEO.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
