Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in similar roles with small-medium sized companies or technology start-ups.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting, managing operations in account receivable/accounts payable and payroll, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will also be involved in providing clear visibility through dashboards, MIS, and financial statements to various stakeholders.

Additionally, you will be responsible for forecasting cash flow positions, developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, and supporting the management in strategic planning.

You will also oversee administrative operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end accounting with a team to ensure accuracy and timely completion
  • Oversee operations in account receivable/accounts payable and payroll
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax laws, statutory audits, and internal controls
  • Provide clear visibility through dashboards, MIS, and financial statements to various stakeholders
  • Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for expense and investment
  • Actively participate and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth and timely audits
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of experience in similar roles with small-medium sized companies or technology start-ups
  • Prior experience working in e-commerce accounting is an added plus
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive business insights
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written with the ability to engage customers and convey complex concepts clearly and concisely
