Job Description

A senior financial leader is required to oversee the financial operations of our organization, lead a team, and drive strategic planning.

This role involves managing all financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely accounting records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, and leading and developing the accounting team.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax regulations and internal controls.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional accounting certification (CA, ICAI)
  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with significant experience in a leadership position within the manufacturing sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all financial operations of the cement plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely accounting records are maintained, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
  3. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including tax regulations and internal controls.
  4. Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and senior management.
