The Role of a Senior Financial Manager

Job Overview

This position entails overseeing the hotel's financial department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and meeting statutory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Management: Maintain accurate financial records, manage cash flow, sales, purchases, and expenses.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and guest ledgers to prevent discrepancies.
  • Financial Transactions: Handle accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and petty cash management efficiently.
Taxation and Compliance:
  • Tax Returns: Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns) within stipulated deadlines.
  • Tax Utilization: Ensure proper input tax credit (ITC) utilization and reconciliation to minimize losses.
  • TDs Compliance: Manage TDS deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns accurately.
  • LLP Compliance: Coordinate with company secretaries and CA for LLP requirements - ROC filings, annual statements, and necessary documentation.

Maintain all statutory registers, records, and documentation as per legal requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and proficiency in financial software applications.
